Phinisi Felicia
This beauty was built in Bira, South Sulawesi by Haji Baso and his team. Haji Baso is a renowned phinisi ship-maker – together with his family, he has pioneered the building of a new fleet of vessels that sails to exotic spots all around Indonesia, from Raja Ampat, Ambon, Banda Naira and Alor, to Maumere, Sumbawa, Bali, Lombok, Riung, and Sumba.
Felicia was previously owned by Mr. Yupp, a German sailor who loves Indonesia as if it were his own home country. Named after his beloved daughter, this phinisi sailing vessel embodies Mr. Yupp’s immense love for her and his adoration of the Indonesian seas. He even purchased the basic equipment for Felicia himself, all the way from Germany.
Plataran Felicia has offered a home to various national and international celebrities and important figures during her tenure, including Indonesia’s President, Mr. Jokowi, on his presidential visit to Labuan Bajo in 2019. Now you can enjoy your own legendary voyage with our beauty, Felicia.
