Spectacular new facility set to open to the public in November 2019

This November, Plataran Indonesia will unveil the newest addition to the group's range of spellbinding locations and experiences dotted around the Indonesian archipelago: Mata Langit by Plataran. Mata Langit by Plataran will officially open on 1st November 2019.

Located in the charming village of Candirejo near Borobudur in Magelang, Mata Langit sits atop a spectacular hillside overlooking the valleys and rivers of Central Java. This awe-inspiring natural phenomenon comprises a rock formation that stands three meters tall on the edge of a cliff.

From this breathtaking vantage point, guests can experience sunrise and sunset overlooking six of Java's most famous mountains: Merapi, Merbabu, Telomoyo, Andong, Sumbing and Prau. Nearby Borobudur Temple appears like a lotus flower in the lush green of the jungle below, while a patchwork of rice paddies, villages and farmland unfolds as far as the eye can see. From up here, you can see God's creation from dawn to dusk.
