During your trip, local concierge will share his knowledge on the process of planting and harvesting rice. If you are traveling during planting season, make a short stop to interact and to help the local farmers plant rice. The day starts early at 07.00 with a quick coffee or breakfast at The View restaurant. Take a short ride to the Ubud traditional market with our chef, where you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the busy sights and sounds of the market. Our chef will share his knowledge about the local ingredients you select that would be used during the cooking class.

Head back to the hotel to prepare for your cooking class and refresh with a drink of fresh young coconut water. During class, our chef will share his insights on how to prepare and cook few of locals’ favorite authentic Indonesian dishes. Roll up your sleeve and start chopping. Enjoy the delicious Indonesian dishes you have prepared at the Banyan deck overlooking the rice field of the hotel.

Spiritual Journey In Bali

Start your spiritual journey at the mysterious Goa Gajah, also known as Elephant Cave. The legend relates that the cave was built in the 11th century by Kebo Iwa - a king known as the Balinese giant and master builder. Our local concierge will guide you through a series of tunnels and caves with interesting hand carvings and statues of many ancient gods that make up Goa Gajah. Candi Tebing in Pejeng is another site where you will find the footsteps of Kebo Iwa.
